Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
We are looking for technicians who can support Vehicle system programs with a focus on Testing, diagnostics, troubleshooting and general system support. The emphasis is on electrical systems, wire harnesses, and system-level software rather than traditional mechanical repair. Candidates from automotive, aerospace, medical devices, robotics, or similar technical fields are encouraged to apply, and automotive experience is not required.
Proficient with hand tools and electrical test equipment (multimeters, continuity testers, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.).
Experience using diagnostic, logging, flashing, or network analysis tools to troubleshoot hardware and software systems
Ability to read and follow schematics, wiring diagrams, manuals, and technical procedures.
Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
Experience working in a lab or shop environment, including tool and inventory management.
Team player.
Pluses:
Experience troubleshooting vehicle or embedded system software.
Familiarity with communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, or Ethernet.
Experience with sensors, calibration, or system validation testing.
Roles & Responsibilities
Collaborate on & assemble test platforms - Create the "Stuff" that enables HW to be utilized in a lab. Including but not limited to - Fixturing, wiring, cooling.
Perform hands-on inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical and electromechanical systems.
Read, interpret, and troubleshoot wire harnesses, wiring diagrams, schematics, and pinouts.
Capture, escalate, & diagnose HW & SW issues encountered when commissioning & maintaining test platforms; Use OEM or system-level tools to read diagnostics, logs, and system status and support root cause analysis.
Navigate documentation and database systems to locate procedures and record results.
Support system validation activities and assist with issue resolution in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
