Job Overview:
The primary role of the Electrical Engineer III is to design, develop, test, and oversee the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for commercial, industrial, military, or scientific use. This position requires the ability to create engineering drawings, read and interpret blueprints, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.

Responsibilities:
  • Review and approve plan layouts, including creating new designs and modifying existing ones.
  • Define electrical test methodologies for PCBs and various subsystems by collaborating with system integration EE and technology teams.
  • Support detailed lab testing and debugging efforts on subsystems such as sensors, power, audio, battery, and low/high-speed interfaces.
  • Conduct ESD testing on prototypes and support debugging activities.
  • Facilitate the introduction of new technologies.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, consulting specifications to evaluate hardware-software interfaces and system performance requirements.
  • Develop scripts and tools for data collection and analysis.
  • Own the execution, interpretation, and reporting of electrical debug and test results.
  • Support system bring-up, debugging, and factory processes.
  • Clearly communicate test plans and results, and track bugs encountered and resolved.
  • Deliver hardware designs, test and prototype builds, and documentation while maintaining effective communication with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:
  • Strong fundamentals in electrical engineering and in-depth knowledge of various EE subsystems and system-level issues.
  • Experience executing electrical tests on the bench and familiarity with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, e-loads, power supplies, power analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and temperature chambers.
  • Proficiency in debugging ESD and EMC issues, with ESD testing experience highly desired.
  • Experience with high-density rigid/flex board integration and rapid prototyping.
  • Ability to manage projects with high ambiguity and multiple paths to clarity.
  • Understanding of core technology areas such as SoC, sensors, wireless, audio, display, and interfaces (USB, MIPI, PCIe, SPI, I2C).
  • Basic knowledge of embedded software, with the ability to analyze software logs/code and familiarity with Python scripting.
  • Experience using automation to improve project quality and scalability.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Self-motivated and thrives in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment.

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.

Pay Range: $70- $80
