Summary

Description

We are looking for an HRIS Analyst to support and enhance core people systems for a growing healthcare organization in Toms River, New Jersey. This position plays a key role in keeping HR, payroll, and timekeeping platforms running smoothly while helping internal teams solve issues efficiently. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and the confidence to work across departments to improve system performance and data reliability.

Responsibilities:
Deliver day-to-day support for HR, payroll, and workforce management applications, including assistance with timekeeping devices and user issues.
Maintain system settings by updating access levels, pay configurations, and other platform controls to align with business needs.
Oversee incoming support requests through the ticketing process, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
Review integrations, recurring system tasks, and data movement between platforms to detect problems and address them proactively.
Contribute to workflow enhancements and automation efforts that improve accuracy, efficiency, and user experience.
Prepare, audit, and validate HR and payroll reports to confirm data integrity and support operational decision-making.
Collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT, and other business partners to investigate and resolve application-related concerns.
Create and maintain clear documentation for procedures, troubleshooting steps, and system workflows.
Support technical processes related to connected platforms and integration tools, including solutions such as Dell Boomi when applicable.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience working with HRIS, payroll, or timekeeping systems, including UKG Pro and/or workforce management platforms.
Understanding of HR, payroll, or attendance processes and how system data supports those functions.
Strong Excel capabilities, including functions such as pivot tables, lookups, and data review techniques.
Demonstrated analytical thinking with the ability to identify issues, interpret data, and recommend solutions.
Clear communication skills and a service-oriented approach when assisting internal users.
High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail in managing system information.
Experience supporting business analysis activities or working with cross-functional stakeholders is preferred.
