Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid – Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday)
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $160K–$180K Base + 10% Bonus

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack AI Engineer to build and deploy production-grade AI-powered applications. This role involves developing scalable web applications, APIs, and AI-enabled solutions using modern full-stack technologies. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver innovative software while leveraging cloud-native architectures and DevOps best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy full-stack applications and APIs.
Build and ship AI-powered applications into production.
Develop backend services using Python and modern web technologies.
Create responsive front-end applications using React and TypeScript.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with engineering teams to build secure, scalable cloud solutions.
Participate in architecture, design, testing, and production support.

Required Skills

3–6+ years of software engineering experience.
Strong Python development experience (required).
Experience with React, TypeScript, Node.js, and REST APIs.
Hands-on experience deploying AI/LLM-powered applications.
AWS cloud experience.
Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Pulumi, or Terraform).
Docker, GitHub, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
SQL and PostgreSQL (or similar relational databases).
Experience implementing OAuth2/OIDC authentication.

Nice to Have

Experience with Agentic AI workflows or AI application frameworks.
Familiarity with GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, or similar AI developer tools.
Experience in regulated or enterprise environments.
