  • Evaluate business cases, investment opportunities, and trade-offs across technology portfolios.
  • Serve as a trusted thought partner to senior leaders on planning, prioritization, and resource allocation decisions.

Financial Planning & Forecasting
  • Own the financial planning and forecasting process for the Technology organization, including monthly, quarterly, annual, and multi-year planning cycles.
  • Develop and maintain financial models covering operating expenses, capital investments, headcount, vendor spend, and strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with Finance and Technology leaders to analyze variances, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support budget development and long-range planning activities.

Technology Cost Optimization & Investment Management
  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs and optimize technology investments across infrastructure, cloud, software, vendors, and workforce spending.
  • Analyze technology spending trends and develop recommendations that improve efficiency while supporting strategic priorities.
  • Build business cases and financial analyses to support investment decisions.
  • Partner with Procurement and Technology leadership to evaluate vendor strategies, contract renewals, and sourcing opportunities.

Capacity & Resource Planning
  • Develop frameworks that align technology demand with available resources, including employees, contractors, and strategic partners.
  • Model various staffing, funding, and investment scenarios to support leadership decision-making.
  • Translate workforce and infrastructure plans into financial impacts and business outcomes.
  • Surface risks, dependencies, and trade-offs associated with changing priorities.

Data Integration & Executive Insights
  • Integrate financial, operational, workforce, and vendor data from multiple enterprise systems to create a consistent view of technology performance.
  • Establish reporting standards, metrics, dashboards, and KPIs that support executive decision-making.
  • Develop executive-ready presentations and materials for senior Technology and Finance leadership.
  • Translate complex analyses into concise recommendations with clear business impact.

What You'll Bring
  • 8+ years of experience in FP&A, Technology Finance, Technology Business Management (TBM), Technology Strategy, Business Operations, or Management Consulting.
  • Experience supporting large technology organizations, CIO/CTO functions, or technology operations teams.
  • Strong financial planning, forecasting, modeling, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to translate complex analyses into clear recommendations for senior leaders.
  • Experience with executive reporting, dashboards, and presentations.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with Power BI, Tableau, Anaplan, SAP, Oracle, or similar tools preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.

Bonus if you have
  • Technology Business Management (TBM), FinOps, or IT Financial Management experience.
  • Technology vendor management, sourcing, or procurement experience.
  • Consulting experience supporting technology organizations.
  • MBA, CPA, CFA, or similar advanced credential.
