Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines on Microsoft Azure. The role focuses on automation, reliability, and continuous delivery across applications and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Build and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (ARM, Bicep, Terraform)
• Deploy, monitor, and optimize applications in Azure environments
• Implement containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes via Azure Kubernetes Service)
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of cloud systems
• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting (Azure Monitor, Application Insights)
• Collaborate with development teams to improve release cycles and automation
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
• Enforce DevOps best practices, governance, and cost optimization

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services (VMs, App Services, Storage, Networking)
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep)
• Experience with containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python)
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture
• Experience with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics)
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git)

Preferred Qualifications

• Azure certifications (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert)
• Experience with microservices and distributed systems
• Knowledge of security and compliance in cloud environments
• Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid cloud setups

Soft Skills

• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities

• Effective communication and stakeholder collaboration

Nice to Have

• Experience with cost optimization and FinOps practices
• Familiarity with GitOps workflows
