Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Functional Consultant to support and enhance Oracle Cloud HCM applications in a fully Remote. The consultant will play a key role in post go-live support, functional configuration, user engagement, and quarterly patch management, working closely with HR and Payroll business users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a functional Oracle HCM consultant supporting Core HR, Absence Management, Learning, OTL, and Redwood UI.
  • This role is primarily focused on Absence, Core HR, OTL, Redwood, and techno-functional HCM skills. Payroll experience is helpful but not required.
  • Work directly with business users to conduct discovery sessions, understand day-to-day operational challenges, and gather functional requirements.
  • Lead and support post go-live activities, including troubleshooting issues, system stabilization, and continuous improvements.
  • Guide users through Oracle quarterly HCM updates, assessing functional impact, reviewing new features, and supporting adoption.
  • Plan and execute retrofit testing for quarterly patches, ensuring existing configurations and customizations continue to function as expected.
  • Lead and support SIT and UAT cycles, including test planning, execution, defect triage, and resolution.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve inbound HDL load issues, including data validation, error analysis, and reprocessing.
  • Configure and maintain functional setups across supported HCM modules, adjusting configurations based on evolving business needs.
  • Configure and maintain Absence Plans, accruals, eligibility profiles, and balances.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Fast Formulas to support absence, validations, and business rules.
  • Support day-to-day user issues, providing functional guidance and system expertise.
  • Collaborate with technical teams as needed to resolve integration and data-related issues.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong functional experience with Oracle Cloud HCM, specifically Core HR, Absence Management, OTL, Learning, and Redwood UI.
  • Proven experience supporting post go-live Oracle HCM environments.
  • Hands-on experience with HDL data loads and troubleshooting.
  • Solid understanding of Oracle HCM quarterly updates and retrofit testing.
  • Experience leading UAT and SIT with business users.
  • Hands-on experience configuring Absence Plans and Fast Formulas.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with HR and Payroll users.
  • Ability to work onsite 5 days per week in New York, NY.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Oracle HCM integrations and reporting
  • Exposure to Payroll or Benefits modules
  • Prior experience in large enterprise or regulated environments
