We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Engineering (QE) Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing and implementing automated testing solutions for enterprise applications, with expertise in Java-based automation frameworks, API testing, Salesforce/nCino platforms, and modern AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Generative AI technologies.
The candidate will play a key role in ensuring software quality by building scalable test automation frameworks, improving test coverage, and driving quality engineering best practices across Agile teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Cucumber (BDD).
- Develop and execute automated test scripts for Web, API, and integrated enterprise applications.
- Validate REST/SOAP APIs using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar frameworks.
- Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and DevOps teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
- Validate and test Salesforce CRM and nCino banking applications, including custom configurations, workflows, and integrations.
- Leverage AI-powered tools (GitHub Copilot, Generative AI tools, test generation tools) to improve productivity, test coverage, and overall testing efficiency.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing initiatives.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, estimation, and Agile ceremonies.
- Contribute to QE best practices, automation strategy, and continuous process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering and Test Automation.
- Strong programming experience in Java.
- Hands-on expertise with:
- Selenium WebDriver
- TestNG
- Cucumber (BDD)
- API Testing (REST Assured, Postman, SOAP UI)
- Experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with source control tools such as Git.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience testing Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, or related Salesforce applications.
- Experience with nCino Bank Operating System implementations and integrations.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Objects, Apex, Lightning Components, and API integrations.
- Experience leveraging GitHub Copilot, AI-powered test automation tools, GenAI-based quality engineering solutions, or intelligent test generation frameworks.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Experience working within Banking, Financial Services, or Wealth Management domains.
