PeopleSoft Database Analyst IV (Onsite)
Primary Location: Madison, Wisconsin

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a PeopleSoft Database Analyst IV for our premier client in Madison, Wisconsin.

Education and Experience »

Must be experienced in Oracle Database Administration, Architecture, and Configuration with hands on experience in migrating databases to Exadata and cloud platforms using multiple methods and technologies.
Experience with Oracle releases 19.x and 26.x, RMAN, Data Guard, scripting and automation is required.
Familiarity with the full license feature set such as multitenancy, advanced compression, partitioning, cloud management pack is preferred.
Hands on experience with Exadata Critical Patch updates preferred.

Top Skills (3) & Years of Experience:

Minimum 3 years in depth technical and functional knowledge of Oracle database performance tuning
Minimum 2 years experience using multiple methods and technologies with RMAN, and Data Guard required.
Minimum 3 years experience performing detailed, highly technical root cause analysis of Oracle database systems.
Minimum 2 years experience with ability to create scripts to automate processes in the Oracle database environments

Nice to Have:

Excellent oral and written communication skills. Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; responds well to questions; demonstrates group presentation skills; participates in meetings; writes clearly and informatively; varies writing styles to meet needs; presents numerical data effectively.
Experience in Higher Education - Highly complex environment, with diverse stakeholders.
