 Azure developer is responsible for designing, configuring, automating, and sup

porting Managed Cloud Environments (MCEs) within Microsoft Azure. Resource will configure and manage MLP’s virtual network in Azure, establish core services within the VNET, enable Azure to function as an extension of MLP’s enterprise network, and develop automation scripts for deployment of Azure resource stacks and associated configurations. Resource will utilize native Azure services to meet technology, security, resiliency, and operational requirements while supporting cloud provisioning, administration, and service management activities with minimal direction and sound independent judgment.

Resource is expected to lead and support design processes for Azure network connectivity, identity and access management, configuration management, monitoring strategy, and cloud operations. Resource should be able to extend standard systems management processes into the cloud, including change, incident, and problem management, and establish monitoring and management infrastructure for both availability and performance. Candidate should also be capable of integrating Azure management tooling with enterprise processes, including automation of environment spin-up, spin-down, and billing approvals, while contributing to internal pricing and instance selection models for Azure virtual machines.

Ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services, enterprise cloud infrastructure, and automation tooling. Candidate should have experience installing, configuring, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based servers and services across multiple operating systems in an enterprise environment. Experience with scripting and automation using one or more of the following is required: PowerShell, Python, Ruby, or Bash. Candidate should also have experience designing and implementing data protection, high availability, backup, and business continuity/disaster recovery solutions in Azure.

• Position requires a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience, along with strong verbal and written communication skills, an agile and solutions-oriented mindset, and proven experience architecting, building, and supporting Azure cloud solutions. Strong knowledge of Azure networking, monitoring, security, resiliency, and identity/access management is strongly preferred.

• Experience in creating tools, scripts, and automation with at least of the following: PowerShell, Python, Ruby, and Bash.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. or more years of experience in architecting, building Azure Cloud solutions
