Senior ITIL & Change Enablement Specialist
Location: Denver, CO or Remote
Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire
Hourly: $70-$75, W2
Innovar Group is supporting a Sr. ITIL & Change Enablement Specialist opportunity with a fast-growing organization undergoing enterprise IT transformation. This role is ideal for a senior individual contributor who understands ITIL, IT service management, and the people side of change adoption across complex IT environments.
The Sr. ITIL & Change Enablement Specialist will partner with IT leaders, service owners, and delivery teams to help drive adoption of new processes, operating models, tools, and standards. This person will play a key role in communication, training, stakeholder engagement, and change readiness to ensure transformation initiatives are successfully adopted and sustained.
Responsibilities
- Lead change enablement activities supporting IT service management, ITIL-aligned processes, and IT transformation initiatives.
- Develop and execute stakeholder engagement, communication, training, and adoption plans.
- Conduct stakeholder impact assessments, readiness reviews, and adoption risk assessments.
- Translate ITIL concepts into practical, actionable guidance for IT teams and business partners.
- Partner with IT leadership, process owners, and service owners to reinforce accountability and adoption.
- Support rollout, implementation, and hyper-care phases for new IT processes, tools, and operating models.
- Create and deliver role-based training, workshops, and enablement sessions.
- Define, track, and report on adoption metrics, user feedback, and areas for continuous improvement.
- Help support a culture of standardized, proactive, and data-driven IT operations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in organizational change management, change enablement, IT transformation, or related roles.
- Working knowledge of ITIL frameworks and IT service management environments.
- Experience supporting enterprise IT initiatives, operating model changes, process adoption, or tool rollouts.
- Strong communication, facilitation, training, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work with senior IT leaders, technical teams, process owners, and cross-functional business partners.
- Experience creating communication plans, training materials, adoption plans, and change readiness assessments.
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Bizzdesign, ClickUp, or Visio.
- Experience in fast-growing, infrastructure-heavy, data center, technology, or enterprise IT environments.
- ITIL certification or formal change management training/certification.
