Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Application Engineer to join a collaborative, team-oriented group. This role involves implementing and managing application infrastructure for a large-scale enterprise environment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision and possesses the flexibility to provide support during off-hours as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and manage load balancing solutions.
- Perform system administration tasks, with a focus on Windows Administration.
- Install and configure new systems and applications.
- Develop and schedule tasks using PowerShell scripting.
- Manage and maintain relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
- Administer Active Directory Services and manage application security, including Single-Sign-On and Certificate Management.
- Ensure reliable network and remote connectivity.
Required Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
Experience: Candidates must have 10-12+ years of relevant professional experience.
Technical Skills:- Experience with Enterprise Content Management (ECM) using Documentum or Alfresco.
- Knowledge of Multi-Tier Application Architecture and Infrastructure.
- Proficiency with Application Servers such as WebLogic, JBoss, or Apache.
- Demonstrated experience in load balancing implementation.
- System and applications installation and configuration.
- PowerShell scripting and task scheduling.
- Administration of Active Directory Services and Application Security Management.
Clearance: The ability to obtain a DHS EOD clearance is required for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
- System development experience in Java or .NET.
- Experience with RDBMS, specifically MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
