Job Overview:
Pay Range: $50.00hr - $55.00hr
Requirement/Must Have:
- Strong experience as a Business Analyst in Guidewire Insurance Suite projects.
- Solid understanding of P&C insurance concepts, coverages, deductibles, and underwriting workflows.
- Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and process-mapping software like Visio.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and documentation skills.
Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Guidewire implementations and enhancements from underwriters, product managers, and policy operations teams.
- Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and other stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of project scope and objectives.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and workflows aligned with Guidewire modules.
- Map out policy lifecycle processes like submissions, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and reinstatements for PolicyCenter Configuration Alignment.
- Assist in configuring the product model (lines of business, coverages, exclusions) and rating engines/rate tables.
- Define data mapping and integration requirements between PolicyCenter and external systems such as BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, or third-party data providers.
- Support UAT planning, execution, and defect tracking in collaboration with QA teams.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily standups, and user story demonstrations and other Agile ceremonies as required.
