Summary

Role: Senior . net developer

Duration: Long Term

Work location: Austin, TX

Responsibilities:

  • Perform highly advanced (senior-level) computer programming work involving research, design, development, and implementation of web-based applications.
  • Conduct research and analysis to develop specialized programs and routines that enhance front-end and back-end applications using HTML, HTML5, ASP.NET (Blazor), and C#.
  • Design, write, test, debug, evaluate, and document complex client/server and web-based applications utilizing C# (.NET), MVC frameworks, and SQL.
  • Provide ongoing support for Texas Department of Agriculture application software by diagnosing issues, implementing corrective changes, and maintaining systems at current versions.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, project leadership, and business units to validate requirements and address technical constraints.
  • Develop scalable solutions that align with both functional and technical requirements.
  • Recommend process improvements and identify risks in application development projects.
  • Work under limited supervision with considerable initiative and independent judgment.
  • Independently perform complex tasks using experience, creativity, and problem-solving skills to accomplish project goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Requirements:

Qualifications:
  • 7 years (Required): Experience with highly complex (senior-level) software development and web programming to enhance user experience.
  • 7 years (Required): Experience in functional and performance automation of APIs, web services, and web applications using C# .NET Framework, MVC, and SQL Server.
  • 7 years (Required): Experience in design and development of web-based and Windows-based applications using .NET technologies, HTML/HTML5, ASP.NET (Blazor)/C#, JavaScript, SQL, and CSS.
  • 5 years (Required): Experience using Azure DevOps and AWS DevOps.
  • 5 years (Required): Experience working in an Agile-based development environment.
  • 1 year (Required): Experience working with the Texas Automated Nutrition System (TANS).
  • 1 year (Preferred): Experience working with Washington D.C.'s Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) Orchard application.
