Software Development Engineer Senior

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Software Development Engineer Senior in Irving, TX.

Duties Include:
* Design, develop, and support integrations between internal systems and third-party applications, platforms, and service providers
* Build and maintain APIs, data pipelines, and system interfaces to enable reliable data exchange across business and technology platforms
* Develop user-friendly tools and applications that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual processes
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable, and well-governed data integration solutions
* Translate business and technical requirements into reliable, high-quality software solutions
* Utilize modern development tools and best practices to deliver efficient, maintainable, and scalable applications
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex system, integration, and data-related issues
* Ensure solutions meet performance, reliability, security, and data quality standards

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
* 5+ years of experience developing backend applications, services, or APIs using modern programming languages
* 5+ years of experience integrating third-party applications, APIs, and data exchange solutions
* Experience working with relational and non-relational databases, data pipelines, and data processing technologies
* Hands-on experience with cloud-based platforms and services
* Familiarity with frontend development frameworks and building internal business applications
* Experience with containerization, deployment automation, and modern software development practices
* Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
