Pay Rate: $57-$61Top Requirements:4+ years of Software Engineering experience, with strong full-stack Angular and Java development.3-5 years prior hands-on infrastructure experience (DBA, Windows/Unix/Linux Admin, Storage, Messaging, or Network Administration).Strong understanding of technology operations and infrastructure, applied to software design (IT Asset Management focus).Plusses:Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized platforms.Experience with Azure or Google Cloud Platform.Background in SRE or DevOps practices.Financial Services experience.Job Summary:The Senior Software Engineer - IT Asset Management will support moderately complex Software Engineering initiatives by designing, developing, and maintaining scalable full-stack applications using
Angular and Java. This role is uniquely suited for engineers who transitioned from infrastructure or operations roles into full-stack development, bringing real-world operational insight into application design.
The engineer will focus on building solutions that automate IT Asset Management, improve operational efficiency, and integrate seamlessly with enterprise infrastructure systems. The role requires strong collaboration across product, infrastructure, and engineering teams, with an emphasis on reliability, scalability, performance, and security within a regulated enterprise environment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack Angular and Java applications supporting IT Asset Management.
- Participate across the full SDLC, from UI design to backend services and infrastructure integration.
- Leverage infrastructure knowledge (Linux, virtualization, containers) to guide software architecture decisions.
- Build visually robust, high-performance web interfaces and scalable backend services.
- Automate IT Asset Management processes to improve reliability and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with infrastructure, operations, and deployment teams to ensure smooth releases.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code following secure engineering practices.
- Debug and resolve frontend and backend issues with attention to performance and data integrity.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices and technical excellence.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
