Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Apigee Developer to design, develop, secure, and manage API proxies using Google Cloud Apigee. The role involves building scalable RESTful APIs, implementing security and traffic management policies, and enabling seamless integration through well-managed API platforms and developer portals
Key Responsibilities:
· Design and develop API proxies using Apigee to expose backend services securely and efficiently
· Implement RESTful API design principles using HTTP/HTTPS, JSON, and XML
· Configure and apply policies for traffic management such as rate limiting, throttling, and caching
· Implement API security mechanisms including OAuth 2.0, API keys, and Access Control policies
· Experience with programming languages such as Java, JavaScript (Node.js) or Python
· Develop and maintain API documentation and publish APIs on the developer portal
· Monitor API performance and usage using analytics dashboards
· Debug and troubleshoot API issues using Apigee Trace and other tool
Must - Have Skills:
Apigee & RESTful API
OAuth 2.0, API keys
Java, JavaScript (Node.js) or Python
