Summary

Job Title: QA/Test - Test Automation Engineer II

W2 ONLY
Job Description:

Test Automation Engineer conducts a wide range of quality control tests and analysis to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements.
Primary Responsibilities
Focuses on assurance in the areas of application functionality, quality, and response times
Performs functional, integrated, and automated regression testing to validate production readiness of software applications and infrastructure for quality, stability, and performance.
Develops and executes test scripts to automate functional and client-side testing of distributed applications.
Supports testing needs of new projects, infrastructure upgrades and application enhancements by validating application functionality against documented test cases.
Mentors junior and entry-level test engineers on test script development and reusable testing frameworks.

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field and five years of experience in test automation, two of which can be in application software development
Associate degree in related technical field and seven years of relevant experience in test automation or software development will also qualify

Preferences The following skill set is highly desirable: understanding testing processes and frameworks, exposure to programming languages like C, VBscript, and SQL; hands-on experience with test automation tools like HP QTP; experience in designing reusable test solutions for automating the regression testing of Web-based and Client-Server enterprise applications

Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies
Experience with C# - NUnit RestSharp, or Java TestNG RestAssured, Postman as well as Bamboo, GIT, Artifactory, JIRA, and Confluence
