Seeking a Technical Project Manager / Agile Product Owner to support technology initiatives focused on analyzing business processes, defining requirements, and coordinating delivery across cross-functional teams. This role will work closely with stakeholders to gather business needs, translate technical concepts into clear business requirements, and support project execution through analysis, reporting, and coordination.

Key Responsibilities


  • Train and mentor a team of Business Analysts while analyzing business processes and systems to identify inefficiencies and required controls.
  • Document procedures and track KPIs to support operational performance.
  • Define high-level applications, relationships, and process flows.
  • Create business and system use cases or functional specifications.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to elicit business concerns and develop workable solutions.
  • Participate in planning initiatives, feasibility studies, cost/benefit analyses, and new system design efforts.
  • Create Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) outlining project requirements including objectives, milestones, timelines, and costs.
  • Create, extract, and modify ad-hoc and standardized reports based on financial and operational data.
  • Analyze data sources and relationships to generate meaningful information for management.
  • Identify opportunities for cost control and process improvement and develop business process flows.
  • Work independently while collaborating with both junior and senior stakeholders.
  • Assist with the management and execution of technology initiative requests.
  • Conduct initial meetings with requestors to define project scope and gather benefit analysis.
  • Support coordination of project sizing and engagement with internal teams.
  • Communicate funding status and coordinate initiative transitions into active projects.
  • Support project managers by ensuring stakeholder engagement during feature refinement and implementation planning.
  • Attend project meetings and provide status updates or escalate issues when necessary.
  • Coordinate with partners during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and final sign-off activities.
  • Provide support for release activities including post-release testing.

Requirements


  • Communication is critical. Candidates must be able to understand complex business problems and effectively communicate between business stakeholders and IT teams.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and stakeholder management experience.
  • Strong project management and delivery coordination skills.
  • Knowledge of scripting or database languages such as Oracle PL/SQL, MySQL, or similar.
  • Strong working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
  • Experience supporting business requirements for large-scale applications.
  • Knowledge of defect tracking and release management processes.
  • Experience with Actimize.
  • Banking or financial services experience.
  • Experience within the financial sector, specifically Fraud or Financial Crimes environments.
  • Experience working with data, including building data pipelines, data movement, querying data, working with models, or similar data-focused work.
