Job Title: POS QA Lead

Role Summary
The POS QA Senior Lead will lead the QA team while also being hands-on in Retail POS QA testing activities. This role is responsible for defining and executing QA strategies, validating POS functionality, and ensuring all POS QA deliverables are met with high quality. The Senior Lead will actively participate in testing, defect analysis, and release validation. This role involves owning POS QA testing deliverables, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring smooth and successful deployments to production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the POS QA team, including task allocation, mentoring, and performance oversight.
- Strong knowledge and Experience with retail domain and omnichannel environments.
- Hands-on QA Lead, actively involved in test design, execution, defect triage, and validation of POS applications.
- Define and drive the POS QA test strategy, test plans, and test execution across releases.
- Ensure all QA deliverables (test cases, execution reports, defect metrics, sign-offs) are completed on time and with high quality.
- Coordinate closely with Product, Development, Business, and Release Management teams.
- Oversee system, integration, regression, and UAT support testing for POS applications.
- Track and manage defects, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication to stakeholders.
- Validate release readiness and provide QA sign-off for production deployments.
- Support and monitor production deployments, ensuring smooth rollouts and quick issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with POS standards, security guidelines, and operational procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and automation opportunities.

- Prepare and present QA status reports, risk assessments, and metrics to customer leadership.
- Proven experience leading onsite/offshore QA teams.
- Exposure to POS automation frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of POS workflows, including sales, returns, promotions, payments, taxes, and integrations.
- Hands-on experience with manual & Automation testing, test management, and defect tracking tools.
- Experience supporting production releases and post-deployment validation.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, trainic licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
The salary range displays the minimum and maximum targets for this position across all US locations and has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $100,000 to $120,000. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits, or variable bonus programs. Final compensation decisions will depend on the unique facts and circumstances of each candidate.
