RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL:

\n

Under specific supervision, performs routine installation and checkout on a variety of systems utilizing

\n

electrical codes, company procedures, engineering drawings, and analysis. Works with Prime electrical

\n

contractors as required. Develops a positive interface with the customer to ensure confidence and

\n

satisfaction with the system installation.

\n

\n

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

\n

1. Installs raceways, cables and wiring to meet local or national codes, standards and

\n

customer system requirements.

\n

2. Mounts and terminates controls equipment as needed.

\n

3. May assist sales with electrical estimates, including walking retrofit projects.

\n

4. Checks out wiring and terminations with test instruments and PC Software as needed.

\n

5. Keeps management informed of job needs, progress and issues.

\n

6. Completes administrative duties, including but not limited to time sheets, expense

\n

reports, and on-site documentation. Provides feedback to JCI Engineering on changes

\n

and keeps as-built drawings current.

\n

7. Resolves job site conflicts regarding installation issues or escalates concerns to

\n

management as required.

\n

8. Communicates with the customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site.

\n

9. Adheres to Johnson Controls safety programs and policies.

\n

10.Performs other related duties as assigned.

\n

REQUIREMENTS:

\n

Electrical apprenticeship or formal training in electrical installation techniques or two years of

\n

experience directly with controls installations is required. Demonstrated ability to read and

\n

interpret drawings. Possesses working knowledge of local codes as it applies to controls.

\n

Experienced in scope determination of installation materials(FAN-410), some Windows/Office Suite software user knowledge.

\n

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $19-26 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
