Job Description

We are seeking an experienced TEKLYNX Central SME (Subject Matter Expert) to lead the implementation and rollout of an Integrated Label Printing (ILP) / On-Demand Label Printing (ODLP) solution for a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in TEKLYNX Central, enterprise label management, and integration with manufacturing and ERP systems, particularly SAP ECC6 and Apriso MES.

This role will be responsible for designing, configuring, governing, and deploying enterprise label printing solutions across multiple manufacturing locations while ensuring accurate and compliant label generation for packaging and consumable products.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and administration of TEKLYNX Central enterprise label management solutions.
• Configure and manage label templates, dynamic identifiers (tags), variables, and business rules.
• Design and maintain integrated and on-demand label printing solutions.
• Establish governance processes for label creation, approval, version control, security, and change management.
• Configure 10 15 dynamic label identifiers/tags used to populate label content.
• Determine and configure business logic for selecting the correct label based on product, plant, customer, packaging type, and other criteria.
• Integrate TEKLYNX Central with SAP ECC6 and Apriso MES to enable automated label printing during manufacturing operations.
• Support deployment and rollout of the solution across multiple manufacturing sites.
• Collaborate with business users, manufacturing teams, IT, and third-party vendors.
• Troubleshoot label printing, integration, and production issues.
• Develop technical documentation, configuration guides, and user training materials.
• Provide production support and continuous improvements for enterprise label printing processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with thermal label printers (e.g., Zebra, Honeywell, Intermec)
• Knowledge of GS1 barcode standards and regulatory labeling requirements
• Experience deploying enterprise labeling solutions across multiple manufacturing facilities
• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Previous experience in manufacturing, consumer products, life sciences, or industrial environments
