SAIC is seeking external and incumbent talent to be considered for positions to support the FDIC ISS Program.

This has recently been awarded to SAIC!

These positions will provide critical IT operational services in support of FDIC initiatives, ensuring the effective delivery of IT services spanning several core task areas, including:

  • Data Center Operations - Operations, maintenance, and optimization of on-premise and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Network Engineering and Operations - Design, implementation, and support of advanced network infrastructure, ensuring reliable connectivity and security.
  • Unified Communications - Management of enterprise voice, video, and collaboration tools across a distributed workforce.
  • Client Services - Including deskside support, hardware deployment, and end-user support services.
  • Service Desk Operations - Comprehensive help desk services, incident resolution, and customer experience improvement.
  • Monitoring and Event Management - Real-time monitoring and analytics to ensure incident detection, predictive issue management, and enhanced responsiveness.
  • Cross-Functional Roles - Project management, training, quality assurance, and IT governance functions supporting FDIC's mission-critical operations.

    Within these task areas, SAIC will be seeking specialized expertise in the following roles:
    • Data Center Engineers and Technicians
    • Network Engineers and Architects
    • Unified Communications Engineers
    • Deskside Support Technicians and Imaging Leads
    • Service Desk Analysts
    • Monitoring Specialists and Event Managers
    • Systems Engineers and Administrators
    • IT Trainers and Knowledge Management Professionals
    • Application Support Specialists
    • Infrastructure Architects
    • Quality Assurance/Test Engineers
    • IT Program and Task Managers


Qualifications
?
Minimum qualifications will vary depending on specific role, education, and experience levels. General competencies and certifications relevant to this program include but are not limited to:
  • Experience with enterprise IT service delivery in data centers, networking, or unified communications.
  • Strong customer service and collaboration skills for client-facing roles.
  • ITIL certifications and/or experience preferred for service delivery and management roles.
  • Knowledge or certifications in cloud platforms, security best practices, or networking protocols is highly desirable.
  • Current or previous experience directly supporting FDIC ISS

Clearance Requirement
  • All candidates must successfully obtain or possess an FDIC Public Trust clearance.
  • Candidates must also pass the SAIC Background Investigation as a requirement for employment.

    Work Location Details

    All positions must be performed within the continental United States. Remote work opportunities may be available for certain roles, while others (e.g., Service Desk, Deskside Support, and Infrastructure Operations) may require on-site work, primarily in Arlington, VA, Washington, DC, and Carrollton/Dallas, TX.
