Job Summary
The Senior Finance Manager / Controller will be responsible for managing all financial activities, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills who can collaborate across departments to support the company's growth and financial health.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements
Maintain internal controls and implement process improvements
Coordinate and support external audits and tax filings
Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to executive leadership
Lead and develop the finance team
Monitor cash flow and financial risk management
Implement and oversee financial systems and software
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master s preferred)
CPA or CMA certification is a plus
5+ years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial regulations
Experience with financial software and ERP systems
Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision
Strong communication skills
