Summary

Position: PostgreSQL Database Administrator (DBA)
Experience: 7 –10 Years
Location: Atlanta, GA
Work Mode: Hybrid – Onsite
Required Technical Skills
  • 7 –10 years of experience in Database Administration.
  • Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL database administration.
  • Expertise in PostgreSQL architecture, installation, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/pgSQL, query optimization, and indexing.
  • Experience with backup and recovery tools such as pg_dump, pg_restore, and pg_basebackup.
  • Hands-on experience with replication, clustering, and high availability.
  • Experience in database performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems.
  • Experience with database security, access management, and user administration.
  • Knowledge of database migration, upgrades, and patch management.
  • Experience with shell scripting (Bash/Python) for DBA automation.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with AWS RDS for PostgreSQL or Azure Database for PostgreSQL.
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL monitoring tools such as pgBadger, pg_stat_statements, and PrometheGrafana.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps environments.
  • Experience managing large-scale, high-availability production databases.
