Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Analyst / Project Manager to join our team. This role will serve as a vital link between clients, stakeholders, and development teams, ensuring efficient planning, execution, and delivery of objectives in alignment with Agile principles. The successful candidate will have a solid foundation in business analysis, project management, and Agile methodologies, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while collaborating across teams.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Act as a conduit between stakeholders, engineering project managers, development teams, and scrum masters to ensure seamless communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate status and planning meetings, ensuring clarity of objectives, alignment with project goals, and effective time management.
  • Collaborate with clients to create, review, and manage Program Increment (PI) plans, ensuring all PI objectives and epics are successfully delivered.
  • Lead and facilitate grooming sessions with clients to gather, analyze, and document both functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed user stories, including clear acceptance criteria, mockups (as needed), and all relevant details to support development efforts.
  • Maintain and organize project deliverables utilizing tools like Atlassian Confluence and Jira, ensuring Kanban boards are consistently updated and accurate progress tracking.
  • Support scrum teams by leading ceremonies, removing roadblocks, and ensuring adherence to the Definition of Ready and Definition of Done as defined by the team.
  • Coordinate scope adjustments during sprints or release cycles, liaising with Project Managers to refine priorities and communicate changes to stakeholders effectively.
  • Provide detailed documentation of client requirements, business processes, and technical expectations, ensuring alignment with project goals and stakeholder needs.
  • Ensure business processes for requirements development and management are efficient, scalable, and align with organizational priorities.
  • Monitor and enforce timelines, budgets, and deliverables to consistently support successful program execution.
  • Assist in the evaluation and prioritization of tasks, aligning team efforts with key business objectives during each Program Increment.
  • Maintain reporting mechanisms for deliverables, sprint progress, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Engage in development and delivery of training processes and materials.
  • Develop and deliver presentations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into clear and actionable information.


Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, including facilitating meetings with stakeholders to develop detailed business and technical requirements.
  • At least 2 years of project management experience, managing Agile teams and/or coordinating between multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience leading and facilitating Agile Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
  • Strong time management skills to ensure efficient and effective communication and optimal use of scheduled time during meetings.
  • Hands-on experience with Atlassian Confluence and Jira, including maintaining Kanban boards.
  • Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to effectively bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to support program objectives by identifying and mitigating team roadblocks.
  • Team-oriented mindset, willingness to collaborate across disciplines, and the ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills and Certifications:
  • Professional certifications, such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), or Project Management Professional (PMP), are highly desirable.
