The engineer will design resilient microservices, build high-throughput data flow solutions using Kafka and Flink, and work with NoSQL + relational databases across cloud environments. This role requires engineering maturity, strong problem-solving skills, and comfort building solutions in dynamic, large-scale enterprise environments.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities- Design, build, and enhance Java/Spring Boot microservices using reactive patterns.
- Develop backend components in Python for data processing and integration.
- Build and support Kafka-driven event architectures (topics, schemas, consumer groups).
- Implement and support Apache Flink pipelines for streaming and operational analytics.
- Develop, version, and optimize REST APIs (OpenAPI/Swagger-based ecosystems).
- Work across MongoDB and Oracle databases, optimizing queries and schema design.
- Contribute to cloud migration and modernization initiatives (AWS/Google Cloud Platform/Azure).
- Participate in Agile ceremonies: backlog refinement, sprint planning, standups, retros.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on design, architecture, integration, and deployment.
- Support LLM/AI/agentic workstreams where applicable.
