DescriptionWe are adding experienced Building Automation technicians to support multi-site data center projects in the greater Charlotte area.
You will perform hands-on installation, point-to-point checkout (including 5-point analog tests), and field functional testing to validate sequences of operations and equipment performance.
Daily work includes plugging into control panels with a laptop, navigating BAS graphics, documenting results, and assisting third-party commissioning agents during witnessed tests.
You'll coordinate with electrical and mechanical contractors, follow drawings and sequences, and troubleshoot hardware/software issues to keep milestones on track.
Candidates should bring 3-5+ years of BAS/HVAC controls experience, the ability to read MEP drawings and control schematics, strong documentation habits, and a safety-first mindset (OSHA-10/30 preferred).
This role is fully onsite across four Charlotte-area sites (generally 30-45 minutes from Uptown), with a physically active, construction-site environment.
The schedule is frequently 6 10s with sustained overtime during peak phases, and the overall program spans multiple years with phased starts.
