Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Consulting Staff Accountant, your main duties will include:

1. Managing accounts receivable and ensuring all financial entries are accurate and timely.
2. Maintaining the general ledger, including preparation and posting of journal entries.
3. Performing monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
4. Utilizing Great Plains software to manage and analyze financial data.
5. Preparing accurate monthly financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
6. Conducting monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
7. Handling intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
8. Assisting in the preparation of budgets or forecasts.
9. Participating in preparation for the annual audit.
10. Developing and implementing accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures; recommending changes as needed.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Consulting Staff Accountant role should possess the following qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of five years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Healthcare industry.
3. Proficiency in Great Plains software or equivalent financial management software.
4. Demonstrated experience with A/R, Ledger, Reconciliation, Financials, Entries, Income Statement, GL, and Monthly Reporting.
5. Experience handling intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
10. Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
