Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Engineer

Location: Orlando, FL

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Engineer to support the design, development, and manufacturing of electromechanical components and systems used in missile applications and other harsh military environments. This role focuses on electronic packaging and wiring harness design, including flex circuits, and requires close collaboration with manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure robust, producible solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design and oversee electronic packaging systems, including wiring harnesses and flex circuits

Develop and maintain electro-mechanical layouts for components and systems operating in harsh environments

Ensure design for manufacturability (DFM) during fabrication, installation, and modification of hardware

Create and manage supporting documentation required for engineering release

Utilize CATIA for 3D modelling and design development

Manage product data, configurations, and revisions using Windchill

Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and cross-functional engineering teams to support production needs

Participate in design reviews and support continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or a related field

4-6 years of hands-on experience with:

CATIA

Windchill

Wiring Harness Design

Proven ability to produce engineering documentation for design release

Experience supporting manufacturability, fabrication, and installation of electromechanical hardware

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of experience with Zuken (preferred but not required)

Experience with electronic packaging in defense, aerospace, or other ruggedized environments

Areas of Technical Expertise

CATIA - 4 to 6 years

Wiring Harness Design - 4 to 6 years

Electronic Packaging / Containment - preferred experience
