Role : QA Manual Tester

Location : Hybrid Onsite Dallas TX, Jersey City Nj and Tampa FL

Duration: Long term

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements to create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system testing
• Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues
• Review test cases and provide feedback to improve test coverage and quality
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Validate APIs using tools like Postman or similar (if applicable)
• Conduct exploratory testing to identify edge cases and usability issues
• Ensure test environments and test data are properly maintained
• Mentor junior QA team members and guide best testing practices
• Provide test execution reports and quality metrics to stakeholders

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in manual software testing
• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Bug Life Cycle
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, ALM)
• Excellent knowledge of different testing types (Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Integration)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases
• Good understanding of databases and ability to write basic SQL queries
