Job Description:
We are seeking a hands-on Senior/Lead Google Cloud Platform Citrix DaaS Architect/Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise Citrix DaaS environments hosted on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform architecture and Citrix DaaS/CVAD deployments in large-scale production environments.
This role requires strong experience in cloud infrastructure, hybrid networking, Windows administration, Active Directory, and infrastructure automation. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring high availability, security, scalability, and operational excellence across the Citrix ecosystem while providing architectural leadership and technical guidance.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design and implement enterprise-scale Citrix DaaS solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
- Build and integrate Google Cloud Platform Landing Zones using Shared VPC architecture.
- Configure and manage hybrid networking between on-premises and cloud environments.
- Design and administer Google Cloud IAM, Active Directory, and Windows Server infrastructure.
- Deploy and manage Citrix Resource Locations and Citrix Cloud Connectors.
- Configure Machine Creation Services (MCS) and oversee image lifecycle management.
- Implement security best practices across Google Cloud Platform and Citrix environments.
- Develop and maintain automation solutions using PowerShell, Terraform, or similar tools.
- Configure monitoring, alerting, logging, and performance optimization mechanisms.
- Optimize cloud resources for scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Design, implement, and validate Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies.
- Create architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and operational runbooks.
- Perform hands-on implementation, troubleshooting, validation, and production support.
- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and support operational teams during transitions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in Google Cloud enterprise architecture.
- Proven expertise with Citrix DaaS and Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD).
- Strong background in Windows Server Administration and Active Directory.
- Experience with enterprise networking and hybrid cloud connectivity.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell and Terraform.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices and enterprise monitoring solutions.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
