Role: IBM z/OS Connect Enterprise Edition (zCEE) Consultant

Role Summary:
Looking for a z/OS Connect Enterprise Edition (zCEE) Consultant with strong expertise in installation, upgrade, and configuration of zCEE environments
Primary focus on enabling OpenAPI Specification 3 (OAS3) adoption and supporting mainframe API modernization initiatives
zCEE Installation, Upgrade & Configuration:
· Install and configure IBM z/OS Connect Enterprise Edition (zCEE) on z/OS environments
· Upgrade existing zCEE implementations to support OpenAPI Specification 3 (OAS3)
· Perform system setup, configuration, and environment validation
· Troubleshoot installation and upgrade issues, ensuring stability and performance optimization
· Implement best practices for security, scalability, and high availability
Environment & Integration Support:
· Configure and manage connectivity with backend systems such as CICS, IMS, and DB2
· Support API deployment, testing, and validation within zCEE
· Ensure coexistence and compatibility with existing OAS2-based services during transition
API Support & Enablement:
· Provide guidance on converting OAS2 APIs to OAS3 (manual approach)
· Assist development teams with Swagger/OpenAPI fundamentals
· Support API creation, configuration, and deployment within zCEE
Training & Knowledge Transfer:
· Deliver basic training and knowledge transfer sessions for administrators and end users
· Provide guidance on zCEE administration and API lifecycle management
Required Qualifications:
· Strong hands-on experience with IBM z/OS Connect Enterprise Edition (zCEE)
· Experience in installation, configuration, and upgrade of zCEE environments
· Familiarity with OpenAPI/Swagger (OAS2 to OAS3 transition)
· Experience integrating zCEE with CICS, IMS, and DB2
· Knowledge of z/OS systems and mainframe environments
· Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
