The OpportunityWe are partnering with organizations in Newaygo that are seeking Process Engineers. Key Responsibilities- Optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Design, implement, and validate new processes or modifications to existing ones.
- Conduct root cause analysis of process deviations and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including SOPs and work instructions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless process integration.
- Monitor process performance using statistical process control (SPC) and other analytical tools.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in manufacturing operations.
Recommended Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience with process optimization methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, PRO/II, CHEMCAD).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
Bonus Qualifications- Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
- Experience with simulation software (e.g., Arena, AnyLogic).
- Proficiency in a programming language (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM).
- Experience with advanced statistical analysis techniques (e.g., DOE, regression analysis).
