The OpportunityWe are partnering with organizations in Fremont that are seeking Process Engineers. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Conduct root cause analysis of process deviations and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including flowcharts, work instructions, and PFDs.
- Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other analytical tools to monitor process performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transfer new products and processes from R&D to manufacturing.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.
- Specify and procure new equipment or modify existing equipment to enhance process capabilities.
Recommended Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience with process optimization, lean manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen).
- Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, PRO/II) and data analysis tools (e.g., MiniTab, JMP, Python, R).
- Strong understanding of P&IDs, PFDs, and other engineering documentation.
- Experience with equipment troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
