Hybrid 4 days onsite, 1 remote. in Greenwood Village, CO

Our client, a leader in their industry, is looking for a Scrum Master to lead teams in applying lean-agile and Scrum practices that drive measurable delivery outcomes. The role will coach and enable self-organization, remove impediments, and support product owners and engineers to achieve customer satisfaction. Candidates should bring experience with SAFe or other scaling frameworks and the ability to leverage Jira or Rally metrics to guide continuous improvement and maturity.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $60.00 to $70.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Lead Scrum teams in applying lean-agile and Scrum practices.
  • Coach product owners and development teams to achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Enable team self-organization and foster accountability.
  • Identify and remove impediments while coaching teams to remove their own.
  • Help teams identify and address gaps in lean-agile frameworks.
  • Resolve conflicts and issues that occur within and across teams.
  • Elevate Scrum maturity through evidence-based coaching.
  • Support product owners with education and backlog management as needed.
  • Support the customized framework and playbook that define ways of working.
  • Support scaling mechanisms and guide team interfaces with program-level work.

Experience Requirements:
  • Experience serving on multiple Scrum teams.
  • Experience with SAFe or other scaling agile frameworks.
  • Proficiency using Jira or Rally to track and interpret delivery metrics.
  • Ability to analyze issues quickly and resolve conflict.
  • Knowledge of techniques to address gaps in Scrum practices.
  • Ability to distinguish what is and is not Scrum.
  • Skill bridging academic agile concepts to real-world application.
  • Experience with successful lean-agile techniques.
  • Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and manage high-pressure situations.
  • Self-motivation with focus and follow-through.
  • Three to five or more years of experience as a Scrum Master.
  • Telecom background (preferred).

Education Requirements:
  • Current and relevant agile certifications from SAFe and/or Scrum Alliance, or Scrum.org.
