Job Description:

• We are seeking an experienced Databricks Solution Architect with strong hands-on expertise in designing and implementing Azure Lakehouse architectures.
• The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in Azure Data Engineering, Databricks, and enterprise-scale data platform modernization initiatives.
• This role requires a seasoned professional with a minimum of 14+ years of overall IT experience, including 10+ years of U.S. experience, capable of leading architecture, design, and implementation efforts for modern data platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable Lakehouse architectures using Azure and Databricks.
• Lead end-to-end solution architecture for enterprise data engineering initiatives.
• Define data platform strategy, architecture standards, and best practices.
• Architect and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and analytics pipelines.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and leadership teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for Azure-based data solutions.
• Ensure data security, governance, performance, and scalability across the platform.
• Drive modernization of legacy data warehouses into cloud-native Lakehouse environments.
• Conduct architecture reviews, solution assessments, and technical design sessions.
• Mentor development teams and establish implementation standards.

Required Skills:

• 14+ years of overall IT experience
• 10+ years of U.S. experience (Mandatory)
• Strong expertise in Azure Data Engineering
• Extensive hands-on experience with Azure Cloud
• Advanced experience with Databricks
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing Lakehouse Architecture
• Strong Solution Architecture and Enterprise Data Platform experience
• Data Modeling and Data Integration expertise
• Experience with scalable cloud-based data platforms
• Strong understanding of data governance, security, and performance optimization

Preferred Qualifications:

• Azure certifications related to Data Engineering or Solution Architecture
• Experience with enterprise-scale cloud migration projects
• Knowledge of modern analytics and reporting platforms
• Experience working in large-scale distributed data environments
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices for data platforms
