Summary

  • We are looking for an SAP Success Factors Project Manager for a long-term contract opportunity in Houston, Texas. This can be a remote position or onsite. 

    Responsibilities:
    • Lead the full project lifecycle for large-scale HR technology implementations, with a focus on SAP SuccessFactors LMS and PMGM modules.
    • Partner with HR leadership, IT teams, vendors, and executive stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals, timelines, and expectations.
    • Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies; develop mitigation strategies and escalate concerns appropriately.
    • Ensure adherence to approved project scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards in alignment with established PMO governance.
    • Maintain comprehensive, audit-ready project documentation in accordance with organizational standards and policies.
    • Produce executive-level status reports, dashboards, and summaries providing transparency into progress, risks, and financials.
    • Oversee and coordinate complex data migration efforts across multiple domains, including LMS and PMGM data.
    • Validate data mapping, transformation rules, and migration results; monitor data quality and support cleansing activities.
    • Coordinate migration of LMS data including courses, user records (leveraging Employee Central), learning history, transcripts, enrollments, certifications, and instructor data.
    • Coordinate migration of PMGM data including performance history, goal history, performance notes, and assessments.
    • Facilitate business requirements gathering sessions and workshops to validate workflows, approvals, roles, and access structures.
    • Ensure the configured solution aligns with business requirements, organizational culture, processes, and user expectations.
    • Track optional enhancements and support cost/effort evaluations for potential scope additions.
    • Coordinate integrations between LMS, PMGM, Employee Central, and other enterprise systems.
    • Support configuration and validation of Single Sign-On (SSO) and ensure compliance with cybersecurity and data governance standards.
    • Oversee testing activities including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, execution, and validation.
    • Schedule and facilitate project meetings, design sessions, and workshops; prepare agendas, meeting notes, action items, and follow-ups.
    • Monitor project expenditures, track budgets, and provide financial forecasts and reconciliation support.
    • Support change management, training coordination, and user adoption initiatives.
    • Ensure continuity, follow-through, and professional conduct throughout the engagement.

    You:
    • 5+ years of experience leading large-scale HRIS or enterprise technology implementations, preferably SAP SuccessFactors.
    • Strong working knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors modules, including LMS, PMGM, and Employee Central, with an understanding of integrations and data structures.
    • Demonstrated experience coordinating complex data migrations across multiple systems and domains.
    • Proven ability to engage and communicate effectively with HR leadership, IT teams, vendors, and executive stakeholders.
    • Experience operating within structured PMO environments and producing audit-ready documentation.
    • Strong understanding of security, compliance, and data governance requirements.
    • Demonstrated financial management skills, including budget tracking, forecasting, and expenditure reporting.
    • Proficiency with project and collaboration tools including MS Project, Teams, SharePoint, and similar platforms.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present clearly to executive audiences.
    • Ability to manage competing priorities, drive accountability, and maintain momentum in complex, cross-functional environments.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a closely related field preferred.
