Description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Senior Consultant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Houston, Texas. This role involves managing multiple concurrent projects within a dynamic environment, ensuring they are delivered efficiently and meet organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management expertise and thrive in a fast-paced setting that impacts a wide range of stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring their successful execution from initiation to completion.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation to track progress, risks, and deliverables.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including a cybersecurity team of 25-30 members, to ensure alignment and project success.
Utilize Agile and Waterfall methodologies depending on project requirements and audience.
Optimize project management tools and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Manage sensitive projects that impact a large user base, including end users and sales teams.
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment of project goals.
Conduct regular status meetings and provide updates to leadership on project progress.
Identify and mitigate risks to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes.
Leverage the latest tools and technologies to streamline project workflows.
Requirements
Proven experience in managing IT projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Strong knowledge of project management practices with a PMP certification preferred.
Proficiency in using project management tools, such as Atlassian Jira.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and practices is a plus.
Exceptional communication and organizational skills to coordinate with diverse teams.
Demonstrated ability to optimize workflows and implement best practices.
Experience working on projects impacting large user groups or sensitive business areas.
