Description
We are looking for a dedicated Site Engineer to join our team in Santa Clara, California. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting energy efficiency initiatives, engaging with major customer accounts, and ensuring the successful implementation of energy-saving projects. This is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the service industry.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough energy audits and assess the technical merits of energy efficiency applications submitted by business customers.
Perform on-site inspections to verify the installation and functionality of energy-efficient equipment at commercial and industrial facilities.
Develop and manage requests for proposals (RFPs) aimed at advancing energy efficiency projects.
Engage with customers to address inquiries, provide education on energy efficiency programs, and resolve concerns related to installed equipment.
Identify energy-saving opportunities through detailed facility walk-throughs and generate comprehensive energy reports.
Deliver presentations and conduct outreach activities to promote energy efficiency incentives and programs to the community.
Provide project management support to ensure the timely and effective execution of energy initiatives.
Maintain and update databases to track project progress and customer interactions.
Prepare detailed weekly, monthly, and annual reports to document project outcomes and compliance.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in energy engineering, site engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency in conducting energy audits and analyzing energy consumption patterns.
Solid understanding of energy-efficient systems and technologies.
Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
Excellent communication skills for engaging with customers and presenting program information.
Experience with database management and reporting.
Ability to perform detailed calculations and verify equipment specifications.
Familiarity with developing proposals and supporting energy efficiency contracts.
