Description
We are looking for a skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. In this long-term contract role, you will play a crucial part in evaluating business systems, identifying areas for enhancement, and aligning solutions with organizational strategies. This position requires a proactive individual who excels in understanding business needs and translating them into actionable system designs.
Responsibilities:
Analyze and evaluate existing business systems to identify areas for improvement and alignment with company goals.
Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather and document detailed requirements.
Develop functional and non-functional specifications, use cases, and system design documents.
Conduct joint application development sessions to brainstorm and refine solutions.
Facilitate communication between end-users, software vendors, and development teams to ensure successful implementation.
Create technical documentation, including user manuals and flowcharts, to support system operations.
Utilize Agile methodologies to manage project timelines and deliverables effectively.
Perform gap analyses to assess discrepancies between current and desired system states.
Provide guidance to programmers during system development and oversee technical requirements integration.
Monitor and evaluate system performance, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
Requirements
Proven experience in business analysis and systems evaluation.
Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies.
Ability to perform gap analysis and propose actionable solutions.
Familiarity with technical documentation and diagramming tools, such as flowcharts and UML.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with stakeholders and technical teams.
Experience in call center customer service processes is a plus.
Solid understanding of computer systems, programming languages, and software architecture.
Ability to manage organizational and human impacts of new system implementations.
