Job Description
We are seeking an Application Programmer III to join our Enterprise Capital Management Technology team within Corporate Treasury. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SQL, Python or Java/.NET, data analysis, and capital markets risk domains and a proven ability to deliver techno-functional solutions for data ingestion, rules execution, and analytics in a greenfield environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data ingestion, rules authoring and execution, and analytics capabilities to replace legacy treasury applications.
- Develop high-quality SQL and application code in Python or Java/.NET with a focus on accuracy and performance.
- Partner with business and risk stakeholders to define requirements and deliver compliant solutions for Basel and related regulations.
- Perform data analysis and validation across large datasets, identify risks and issues, and recommend improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline. MBA is an advantage.
- 10+ years of experience with at least 3+ years as a data analyst in a delivery-focused techno-functional role.
- Proficiency in SQL, preferably on Oracle Exadata.
- Programming experience with Python or Java/.NET. Hadoop experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and self-starter mindset.
- Deep understanding of capital markets, focused on Credit Risk, Market Risk, or Capital calculations.
- Knowledge of regulations such as Basel, CRR, and CRD IV.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of big data architectures and cloud computing.
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques, classifiers, and statistical methods.
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder collaboration.
