Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team and provide data-driven insights to support business decisions. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in SQL, relational databases, Python, and data wrangling tools to extract, transform, and analyze data from various sources. Experience in using AI tools/models for data extraction & analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Perform data extraction, transformation using SQL and data wrangling tools
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify patterns, trends, and insights
- Develop and maintain data models, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and data needs
- Document data sources, processes, and procedures for data governance and reproducibility
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science)
- 6+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar data-centric role
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle)
- Familiarity with data wrangling tools like KNIME, Alteryx, or similar platforms
- Coding skills in Python for data manipulation and analysis
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Knowledge of statistical techniques and machine learning concepts
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and big data technologies
- Understanding of data governance and data quality principles
