About the RoleOur client is seeking an experienced
Cloud Services Engineer to join a high-performing cloud infrastructure and security team. In this role, you will design, implement, and manage secure, scalable cloud solutions within Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). The ideal candidate has strong expertise in cloud identity and access management, Infrastructure-as-Code, cloud security best practices, and automation.
Key Responsibilities - Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure and access controls within Google Cloud Platform.
- Develop and maintain Terraform modules and CI/CD pipelines to automate infrastructure deployment.
- Configure and manage Workforce Identity Federation and Workload Identity Federation solutions.
- Implement least-privilege access models, service account management, and enterprise security controls.
- Build and maintain cloud-native services using GKE, Cloud Run, and Pub/Sub.
- Develop automation and tooling using Python or Go.
- Collaborate with security, platform, and engineering teams to enhance cloud governance and compliance.
- Support cloud infrastructure operations, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Required Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, cloud security, or platform engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
- Deep understanding of Google Cloud Platform IAM and enterprise identity management.
- Expertise with Terraform, including module development and CI/CD integration.
- Experience implementing Workforce Identity Federation and Workload Identity Federation.
- Proficiency in Python or Go for automation and cloud tooling.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
- Cloud Run
- Pub/Sub
- Strong knowledge of:
- Service Accounts
- Least-Privilege Access Models
- Enterprise Cloud Security
- Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) Best Practices
Preferred Qualifications - Experience supporting large-scale enterprise cloud environments.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and cloud governance frameworks.
- Experience with Kubernetes security, cloud compliance, and automated security controls.
- Relevant cloud certifications such as:
- Google Professional Cloud Engineer
- Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer
