Summary

Job Summary:
Seeking a Mainframe Technical Specialist / Hogan SME with 10+ years of experience in Hogan core banking systems to reverse-engineer legacy applications and support migration to modern cloud-native platforms such as Pismo.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and reverse-engineer Hogan modules including IDS, CIS, PEP+, ULS, DDA, and rail components.
  • Document business rules embedded in COBOL programs into functional/technical specifications.
  • Develop data extraction and integration interfaces using DB2, VSAM, MQ, and mainframe technologies.
  • Support dual-write, rollback, parallel-run, validation, and reconciliation strategies.
  • Provide production support, change control, and legacy system stabilization.
  • Collaborate with architecture/development teams to replicate legacy functionality in Pismo.
  • Support legacy functionality decommissioning and modernization initiatives.

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years Hogan core banking experience.
  • Strong COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, MQ expertise.
  • Legacy system reverse engineering and business-rule analysis.
  • Core banking modernization/migration experience.
  • Experience with CA Endevor/Changeman and production change management.
  • Exposure to Hogan-to-Pismo/Mambu migration and ISO 20022/payments transformation preferred.
