Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (Hybrid)Duration: 12 months Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and adaptable contractor to provide business operations and employee engagement support. This role will partner closely with leadership to support communications, reporting, presentations, events, and engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate is a proactive, tech-savvy business support professional who is comfortable supporting multiple priorities, producing executive-level deliverables, creating engaging communications and multimedia content, and quickly becoming a trusted partner to leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Support employee engagement initiatives, communications, events, and leadership forums.
- Create, edit, and distribute executive-ready communications, newsletters, blogs, and presentation materials.
- Develop professional PowerPoint presentations and reporting for leadership audiences.
- Compile, analyze, and maintain data using Excel, including pivot tables and report generation.
- Manage Teams meetings, Outlook communications, and collaboration activities.
- Record, edit, and produce video content and multimedia communications.
- Track deliverables, manage timelines, and provide day-to-day operational support.
- Proactively identify needs, solve problems, and ensure timely execution of priorities.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Microsoft 365 skills, including Teams, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong Excel skills, including data analysis, reporting, and pivot tables.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create executive-level communications.
- Experience editing blogs, newsletters, and organizational communications.
- Video recording and editing experience (Camtasia or similar tools preferred).
- Strong organizational, project management, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision after onboarding.
- Quick learner with a flexible, adaptable mindset.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Business support, communications, employee engagement, or project coordination experience.
- Experience creating executive reporting and leadership presentations.
- Experience supporting virtual and in-person events.
