About the Role

We are seeking a Lead Information Security Analyst to help drive the implementation and operationalization of a new enterprise Unstructured Data Scanning program. This initiative is focused on improving the visibility, governance, classification, and protection of sensitive information across enterprise unstructured data repositories.

In this role, you will serve as the primary security lead for the program and collaborate with partners across Information Security Engineering, Risk, Compliance, Privacy, Data Governance, Architecture, and external technology vendors. You will play a key role in defining security controls, governance frameworks, operational processes, and risk management practices that support long-term program success.
What You'll Do
  • Lead security strategy and consultation for enterprise unstructured data discovery and protection initiatives.
  • Partner with engineering teams to implement and operationalize enterprise data scanning and data protection solutions.
  • Conduct security risk assessments and develop remediation strategies for identified risks.
  • Define and influence security controls, governance requirements, and compliance standards for new capabilities and platform enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, operating models, standards, and governance documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across Security, Risk, Compliance, Privacy, Architecture, Data Governance, and Technology teams.
  • Manage security-related workstreams and drive alignment across multiple business and technical organizations.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors and vendor management teams to evaluate, monitor, and mitigate security risks.
  • Establish reporting frameworks, key performance indicators (KPIs), and program metrics to measure effectiveness and maturity.
  • Support awareness, training, and adoption efforts across stakeholder groups.
  • Provide mentorship and subject matter expertise to team members and partners.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, equivalent military experience, or relevant professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • Experience evaluating, implementing, and managing security controls and security programs.
  • Experience conducting security risk assessments and developing remediation plans.
  • Experience collaborating with technical, security, risk, compliance, and business stakeholders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and build consensus across organizations.
  • Experience creating governance frameworks, standards, policies, procedures, or related security documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading complex cybersecurity initiatives or enterprise-wide programs.
  • Experience influencing decisions without direct authority.
  • Experience managing projects, workstreams, or cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience working with third-party vendors and technology providers.
  • Knowledge of Unstructured Data Scanning platforms and related technologies.
  • Experience with Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) solutions.
  • Experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Information Protection, Data Discovery, and Data Classification technologies.
  • Understanding of Data Governance, Data Privacy, and Information Protection programs.
  • Knowledge of PCI and other regulatory or compliance frameworks.
  • Experience partnering with Security Engineering teams to implement enterprise security solutions.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CDPSE, or equivalent.
