Job Title: Software Engineer 3 / Java Developer
Location: Chandler, AZ - Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 remote)
Contract Length: 12 months (potential to extend or convert)
Pay Rate: $53 - $57
Top Requirements:4+ years of Software Engineering experience with strong Java development skillsExperience working with relational databases and SQLFamiliarity with APIs, backend integration, and version control tools (Git)Plusses:Experience with Java frameworks (Spring, Hibernate)Familiarity with build tools (Maven, Gradle) and CI/CD practicesExposure to web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum teamsExperience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnitJob Summary:In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables. Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Software Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:- Write, test, and debug Java code to support application development
- Collaborate with team members to design and implement new features
- Maintain and enhance existing codebases
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices
- Work with databases, APIs, and backend technologies as part of integration efforts
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues
- Document code, processes, and technical designs
- Support data integration and movement between lending origination systems
- Stay updated with current Java technologies and frameworks
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to team deliverables
