About the RoleWe are seeking a
Software Engineer (Generative AI) to design and build scalable AI-powered solutions that transform supply chain document processing. You will be a key technical contributor on a team developing
agent-based generative AI systems that extract, interpret, and act on structured and unstructured data.
This role combines
modern AI engineering,
backend development, and
distributed systems design. You'll collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to ship high-impact solutions in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do- Design, develop, and deploy Generative AI-powered applications and agent-based workflows
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Python frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, Django)
- Develop and scale systems for document extraction and processing within supply chain workflows
- Contribute to end-to-end SDLC, including architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment
- Lead or contribute to delivering AI agents (~1 per 1-2 sprint cycles)
- Evaluate and integrate LLMs and GenAI frameworks into production systems
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, product partners, and stakeholders
- Apply engineering best practices for scalability, observability, and reliability
- Mentor team members and contribute to technical standards and design decisions
Minimum Qualifications- 5+ years of software engineering experience (or equivalent practical experience)
- 3-5 years of recent Python development, including backend and API services
- 3-5 years of experience working with relational databases
- Experience building REST APIs in production environments
- ~1 year (9-12 months) of hands-on Generative AI development
- Experience working across the full software development lifecycle
Preferred Qualifications- Experience productionizing Generative AI systems using industry-standard frameworks
- Familiarity with GenAI tooling such as LangChain, LangGraph, LangSmith, or similar
- Experience with multi-agent systems, orchestration, or Model Context Protocol (MCP)
- Knowledge of evaluation frameworks and LLM evaluation techniques (e.g., LLM-as-a-judge)
- Experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform preferred), OpenShift, or containerized environments
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Identity & Access Management
- Strong experience with data processing tools (NumPy, Pandas, ETL pipelines)
- Experience with PostgreSQL and object storage systems (e.g., S3)
- Familiarity with AI governance and responsible AI principles
- Prior experience in the financial services industry
Nice to Have- Experience with enterprise AI frameworks (e.g., Google ADK, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen)
- Exposure to supply chain systems or document processing platforms
Working Model- Hybrid: 3 days per week onsite (mandatory)
