Role Overview
The IT Project Manager will serve as a Scrum Master and servant leader for 2 3 Agile teams, driving effective implementation of Scrum and Kanban practices. The role focuses on facilitating Agile ceremonies, improving team performance, and ensuring continuous delivery within a collaborative development environment. The role is based in Richmond, VA (Hybrid), and the job is open to candidates within a 100 miles radius of Richmond, VA.
Key Responsibilities
Act as Scrum Master for multiple Agile teams, ensuring adherence to Scrum and Kanban principles
Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos
Track and communicate team velocity, sprint progress, and release status
Serve as liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders
Coach teams on Agile best practices, backlog management, and user story quality
Identify and remove impediments while promoting team self-organization
Maintain process documentation and performance metrics
Support backlog prioritization, defect resolution, and transparency in communication
Drive continuous improvement and foster a collaborative team culture

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) 5+ years
SAFe Agile experience/certification 3+ years
Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) 4+ years
Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) 4+ years
Scrum Master or Business Analyst experience 4+ years
Technical understanding of development platforms/languages 4+ years
Team facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder communication 4+ years
